Dr. Kamalmeet Kaur did not just join a practice — she created one. The Modern Medicine Group
exists because Dr. Kaur looked at the Fresno healthcare landscape and decided the community
deserved a different kind of clinic: physician-led, patient-first, unhurried, and rooted in the kind of
trust that builds over years, not minutes.
Dr. Kaur earned her MD from Dayanand Medical College (Class of 2018) — one of India's top
medical institutions — before arriving in Fresno to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at
UCSF Fresno (2019–2022), one of the most rigorous and respected training programs on the West
Coast. She was selected as Chief Resident at UCSF Fresno, an honor reserved for the resident
physicians who demonstrate the highest level of clinical skill, leadership, and commitment to
patient care.
