Dr. Kamalmeet Kaur, MD — Founder & Board-Certified Internist in Fresno
Dr. Kamalmeet Kaur founded Modern Medicine Group because she believed Fresno deserved better. Better access to primary care. Better relationships between patients and doctors. And a
clinic built on trust — not on the corporate churn of seeing as many patients as possible in as little time as possible. She built this practice from the ground up, and she sees patients here every day.
Dr. Kaur is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a former Chief Resident at UCSF Fresno, and a Clinical Assistant Professor at California Health Sciences University. She is the Founder and CEO of Modern Medicine Group and one of the primary care doctors in Fresno who isactively accepting new patients right now.

About Dr. Kaur
The Doctor Who Built This Practice From Scratch
Dr. Kamalmeet Kaur did not just join a practice — she created one. The Modern Medicine Group exists because Dr. Kaur looked at the Fresno healthcare landscape and decided the community
deserved a different kind of clinic: physician-led, patient-first, unhurried, and rooted in the kind of trust that builds over years, not minutes.
Dr. Kaur earned her MD from Dayanand Medical College (Class of 2018) — one of India's top medical institutions — before arriving in Fresno to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at
UCSF Fresno (2019–2022), one of the most rigorous and respected training programs on the West Coast. She was selected as Chief Resident at UCSF Fresno, an honor reserved for the resident physicians who demonstrate the highest level of clinical skill, leadership, and commitment to
patient care.
After residency, Dr. Kaur did not leave Fresno. She stayed — because this is where she is needed. She joined United Health Centers as a Primary Care Physician (December 2022–present),
deepening her experience with the breadth of health conditions that affect Central Valley communities. In November 2023, she took on a role as Clinical Assistant Professor at California
Health Sciences University, where she helps train the next generation of physicians. And in July 2023, she launched Modern Medicine Group — building the clinic she always believed this
community deserved.
